Moss & Lichen

This series of highlighters, pens, and markers on paper looks at just that, moss and lichen; specifically at the relationship of their growing together. One being between an algae and plant, the other being between an algae and fungus.

Heavily identifying with the moss myself, this series has been an excellent meditation in color, shape, detail, unity and balance.
